Happy 9 Years Honey! (Surprise)

So, I am doing something I have never done before. I am taking over my husbands blog without his knowledge. I had to be very sneaky and covert with this operation. May 15th is our nine year anniversary and I wanted to share with everyone my thoughts on what an amazing husband and father Sterling is.
On October 17th, 1997 the Lord brought Sterling into my life at fifth quarter after a Mt. Tabor/West Forsyth football game, and on May 15th, 1999 I had the privilege of marrying my best friend.
Let me start by saying how blessed I am to be married to such a wonderful man! I must say that our marriage gets better every year, and I agree with Dr. Thompson's OMIB saying (that is Old Marriage is Better). Sterling is an incredible husband who leads me and gives selflessly of himself to meet my needs as his wife. Always there with a hug, prayers, and encouraging words of support for me.
He is also a wonderful father who supplies his children with security, love, support, discipline, and comfort. He teaches them what it means to serve the Lord and to be faithful in all situations, even when different from our own plans. This past year when I was on bedrest for 16 weeks and in the hospital for 1 month, Sterling had primary care of the children. Not once did he ever complain to me, but to the contrary, would build me up as a mother and let me know that he was enjoying time with the kids that he would not have had otherwise. What a MAN! Nothing touches my heart more than to see Sterling with our four children playing on the floor, or cuddling on the couch. He is such an example to our daughters and son of what a servant of Christ, a husband, and a father should be.
The Lord has blessed Sterling with a passionate heart for His Word, a strong drive to make a difference in the world, and the desire to teach and reach those around him. It has been awesome to watch Sterling grow in his walk with Christ and in the ministry God has given him. I truly believe that faithfulness is key to all of of this. Sterling is a blessing to me and I praise God everyday that he has given me the gift of being his wife.

How can I respond to that? Greatest wife ever! And you did a great job with the commas, too.

My Story to Tell

I was hesitant at first to write this blog post. A big reason for that is because so many people have experienced a lot of life-altering eve...
